Another Fall

Another Fall, another lesson of humility - I see
The ground is iced, the right track isn’t so easy to find for me
I talk too much, my voice does not reflect the things I want to teach
I fall asleep at the eleventh hour hoping they won’t see

Still I want You to believe that still I got it under control
I got no strength to show my tears and You cut off this deadly pride

I counted days and wrote a list of how it would be
But if it stopped right now right here it would be alright with me
I miss my mum but the way back home’s too far to go spontaneously
I miss the sun, there’s never dark cold winter in my memory
Neither in my future dreams but I’m in between

… but You cut off this deadly pride.
And You say everything’s alright.

I’m working to be paid. I’m living to be made.
So would You make, please, would You make me change.
If I cannot be free then who else could be happy apart from thee?
