I have painted one more picture
I have stained one more piece of my heart
I have painted this picture in my head

But I am more a dreamer than an artist
And I don’t know what to feel
I always draw the same, it’s blind, not real

I have written one more book
I assumed that you would like it
I have written this book in my head

But I am more a planner than a storyteller
And the way is never straight
Maybe this near is still too far away

So please keep me from thinking you were perfect
Because there is nobody

I’d like to see you coming near
But I only see your face disappear
